Leadership Initiatives for Transitioning Teens
LIFT Teens challenges young people to raise their sights and become actively engaged in navigating their own futures. Participants in our programs gain invaluable skillsets through our organic approach to teaching and demonstrating life skills.

Transition EASE (Education, Assets, Support, and Execution)
Transition EASE helps teens recognize the process of transition and effectively use that awareness as a tool to support them as they advance towards higher education, graduate and enter the workforce .

Transition Awareness Training and Coaching
Through facilitating training and coaching adult partners our students have created a platform for common communication among their peers and to articulate their youth perspective to the adults who impact their lives.

Alumni Ambassador Program.
Proven long-term dedication to the YBI program also allows third and fourth year students to apply to become Alumni Ambassadors (AA). The Alumni Ambassador program embodies service learning at its core. Alumni Ambassadors give back by sharing their knowledge, skills, and experiences with the young participants; building a stronger bond among all participants.

Our mission is to empower disadvantaged youth, particularly those in foster care, to become strong self advocates and healthy, self aware young adults who have the resiliency and grit to be successful.
